About Forge FRC 9404
Outreach
As members of Forge we work to spread the mission of FIRST through outreach within our community. This includes working with elementary school age children in the FLL ( FIRST LEGO League) program, as well as middle school students in FTC ( FIRST Tech Challenge). The team was also selected to be one of the teams representing the FIRST Robotics Competition program at the FIRST Gala Pre-Event. At this event they were able to meet FIRST founder and prolific inventor Dean Kamen and international recording super star and FIRST super supported Will.I.Am.
What we Do
At Forge FRC 9404 we look to learn valuable life skills, become actively involved in our community, and compete in FIRST Robotics events. We wish to enhance our current skillsets and learn to work together effectively. Our team strives to volunteer at local FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Lego League events. In addition, our team wishes to provide younger generations of students the opportunity to explore the what being a member of FIRST has to offer. We hope to bring together our local community to provide students in our local area the opportunity to participate in robotics
Our Story
FRC team Forge 9404, was founded by two young ladies with a passion for robotics and for sharing STEM knowledge. They were introduced to the world of FIRST Robotics by their older siblings. Our journey began in 2023 when our founders came together in one of their garages to bring robotics to the Pembroke Pines community.
